Artistic bloodlines run deep in Gigi Ma’s family, Ma’s grandfather Lai Man-wai was known as the “Father of Hong Kong Movies”, and her grandmother Lim Cho-cho was the first Chinese silent-era actress. Gigi began her successful multidisciplinary career in film, television and music at the age of 14 and has earned wide recognition from audiences and critics in Greater China.
